Jordi Dalmau is a Barcelona-based composer and sound designer with over 25 years of experience shaping music for film, television and interactive media. His work is driven by a deep sensitivity to storytelling, crafting immersive sonic landscapes where emotion, rhythm and texture become part of the narrative itself.
Classically trained at the Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Barcelona and later immersed in modern music and jazz at the Aula de música moderna i Jazz de Barcelona, Jordi blends strong compositional roots with a contemporary cinematic vision. His musical language moves fluidly between orchestral depth, hybrid energy and atmospheric sound design, always in service of the image.
He has composed and produced music for feature films including Lagunas and After the Lethargy, directed by Marc Carreté, as well as Framed, directed by Marc Martínez. For television, he has created themes and branding music for the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK), broadcast internationally, along with projects for Spanish TV Channel 3CAT.
Whether writing for cinematic drama, high-impact sports visuals or immersive environments, Jordi’s music is defined by expressive melodies, dynamic tension and a strong sense of atmosphere — always seeking to elevate the emotional pulse of the image.
